Within a central circle, two water jugs and a staff; below, the three numerals ‘786’ for the date in Nepal Sambat; around the circle within a geometric design, ‘nepāleśvara’ (‘Lord of Nepal’ in Newar). Rev. Two intersecting triangles; a sword within the central hexagon; to left and right of the sword, ‘śrī śrī Jaya’ (‘Lord Lord Jaya’ in Newar); in the six outer triangles, ‘śrī Nivāsa Malla’ (‘Lord Nivasa Malla’ in Newar). KM 307. A well struck and lightly toned example. About extremely fine.
